Origin of logarithmic corrections in three-dimensional anti-de Sitter space

چکیده

We find the origin of logarithmic correction to the absorption cross section by studying the spin–dependent wave equation in three-dimensional anti-de Sitter space(AdS3). It turns out that all test fields(ψν=1) coupled to (1,1), (2,0), (0,2) operator on the boundary at infinity receive logarithmic corrections. These are a minimally coupled scalar and gauge bosons. It turns out that these corrections arise from a singular structure of AdS3 wave equation at infinity and horizon. On the other hand, test fields(ψν=2,3) which include the intermediate scalars(η, ξ) and fixed scalar(λ) do not receive any logarithmic correction in the first-order approximation.
